The reviews are real. The rooms are quiet, clean, and spacious. The bathroom is modern with a huge vanity. Location is perfect with everything within a few minutes walk, including the subway which is just across the street. But the staff is the reason I will be back. Everyone was attentive and lovely. Felt like a VIP all week and I don't impress easily. I never stay the same place twice when visiting NYC but will definitely stay here again.

i haven’t stayed here but i live in the neighborhood. happy to have it here - especially with the fun bar and new bagel place connected. restaurant is good but always feels like it’s missing something. regardless, thrilled to have it! staff are lovely

Service and Location is the best. I definitely need to say the front office stay (esp. the one guy forgot his name) was so friendly and welcoming, he deserves an appreciation. The rooms are newly remodeled but the quality of the remodel was pathetic but look very modern. You will realize when you stay :) and relate to what I meant. The rooms have the best views. I stayed for a couple of days and it was easy to get in/out to anything within the Brooklyn downtown. No free breakfast in the morning but have complimentary coffee and complimentary water bottles in the room.

The hotel staff was kind enough to let us check ina bit early , the rooms were very comfy. The first day we didn't have hot water in our shower, but it was still warm. The biggest problem we ran into was the fact on the first Friday of the month the lobby turns into effectively a night club. I had to work my way through crowds dancing to get to and from my room multiple times which was incredibly difficult. This wasn't something that was reminded of or disclosed by the staff when we checked so it was a real shock, especially when I had lost my room key. If I wasn't with friends also in my room with their keys, the bouncers for the front door wouldn't have let me in and I wouldn't have known how long I'd wait in the cold to get the matter resorted. Defintely something to keep in mind when booking.

Pleasant, friendly and accommodating. Best pillows ever!!! The most satisfying and the reason I will always return to the Ace in Brooklyn is a gentleman by the name of Mike in the bar area. I loved the Ace Hotel in Brooklyn! The staff was dynamic and so helpful! The room was a delight. It was larger than most and eclectic in design! The housekeeping staff was so nice and took great care of us. The lobby area was warm and inviting.

This is a new and really fantastic hotel. The foyer and bar area is very chic and trendy with beautiful plants, wood and soft lighting. The staff even let local people come and do home office there. There is a really good vibe and great …

Though only for one night, we enjoyed staying in a beautiful hotel close to our daughter's apt in Brooklyn - great amenities, comfortable bed in a spacious room with a lovely view, and very friendly staff. We will be back! Parking across the street was convenient, though it would be nice to have more than a 10% discount on the fee.
